Diorama-rama

Oh my god.

The album’s ffffinnnnnallly done. Here are the facts:

It is called Diorama

I recorded it with the mystical, magical, majestic Dan Romer (http://www.myspace.com/drawingnumberone) of Drawing Number One Productions (Jenny Owen Youngs, Ingrid Michaelson).

It has eleven tracks, including a duet of a song I co-wrote w/ Tesco Vee of Meatmen fame (I also did a song on their new covers album!!). I will finally get the cred I yearn for with the hardcore set …

The art will feature photos of dioramas, one of which I made for each song on the album (hence the title). I’ll post pictures soon. Seriously guys, it took me a really long time, so. I hope you like them. Oh and the music too.

It’ll be released into your hands, hearts and external auditory meatuses in mere weeks!

I’m really happy about it!

In other news, I have a band now! Collectively we are called Hailey Wojcik & Her Imaginary Friends. We are: Me, Mike Multari (guitar), Geoff Lewitt (drums), Evan Sanyour (percussion) and Seth Faulk (bass), and we played our first show a couple weeks ago (with Mike Tuccillo on bass). Ann the bartender liked us. The New York Times called it “A Triumph” … Not actually. Many many more to come!!

I’m going to actually start blogging regularly now. Seriously.

Til next time.

Fare-thee-well,

H
